Along the Hradova Ridge

On Thursday, August 7th, 2025, we invite all nature and exercise lovers to the opening of the secured route - "ferrata" on Hradová. During the joint ascent, you will not only enjoy a beautiful hike with views, but also interesting facts about nature, safety features, and a lecture on the history of Hradová and Tisovec Castle.
The secured path on Hradová leads over a rocky ridge in the area of ​​the former Tisovec Castle and provides visitors with unforgettable views of the Rimava Valley, the Muránská Planina Mountains and the Veporské Hills. It was created as a safely accessible section of the tourist trail, where steel safety barriers, climbing ropes and ropes are installed, which increase safety when moving in exposed terrain.

9:30 – Meeting in front of the Municipal Office in Tisovec
9:40 – Welcoming guests and speeches by organizers
10:00 – 12:00 – Hike along the Hradová nature trail with a guide
12:00 – 12:20 – Presentation of the safety features of the new via ferrata
12:20 – 12:40 – Lecture by Roman Vavrek about Tisovec Castle and its history

We recommend sturdy hiking shoes and appropriate clothing for mountain terrain.
