The Muráň Castle Games brought a return to the times of knights and princesses
The spirit of the Middle Ages has once again visited Muráň Castle! On Saturday, June 14, Veľká lúka was transformed into a living stage of history - with a medieval camp, craft demonstrations, a market of regional products and a rich program for young and old.
Children enjoyed a carriage ride, face painting and two magical performances by the Pod balkónom theatre – “Salt over Gold” and “Hamlet”. The atmosphere was completed by the popular falconry performance, which thrilled the whole family. A novelty of the event was “Journey through the Middle Ages” – a new series of interactive elements inspired by historical plays and life in ancient times.
A varied program awaited visitors right at the castle: concerts by the historical music group Páni Času, tastings of medieval cuisine, guided tours with Roman Vavrek, and creative environmental activities for children. The evening culminated in an exciting theatrical performance with a fencing duel performed by the group Vir Fortis.
